And so does your puppy!!! That's the Stanley Cup on the TV in this photo but 99% of the time, it's the Kardashians. I just leave it on for them every morning while were playing and cleaning. Im guessing they recognize Kris's voice as much as mine!. Yes, it is so true, I admire these strong, beautiful women. I am sure that we can do some investigating and find all kinds of reasons why I should not like them, but here's why I do and how I got started on my Kardashian Kick. Last March Emma was spending a week shadowing and visiting the medical school that she was so wanting to get into------and DID!!. I had just had the website made and was looking forward to learning how to manage and create our pages so I took a few days off too and we headed to Nowhere'sville Missouri, checked into the Noname Motel and our Mother Daughter week was off to an amazing start. Emma left for the hospital and I pulled out the laptop to get started on my website journey.......NO WIFI!!! It was raining, cold and I had nothing but basic cable to occupy me. The Kardashian marathon sucked me in in a second. I knew who they were. I had heard about Kim's sex tape and marriages and Khloe's relationships with creepy athletes but that' about it. Immediately I realized that I was meeting some amazing strong, independent women. These people have more money available to them than most countries and it is clear that there is nothing more important to them than their family. They are involved with their kids. They have built themselves into successful business women. (I heard the other day that Kim can get up to $300,000.00 for ONE instagram post!) Yesterday I was watching an episode where Kourtney had her kids at an event and then took them out to lunch. The lemonade was sour and she asked if he wanted a new one. Nope, his little sister told him to just add some water and it would be fine. That cannot be faked. I am a waitress and a mother, taking a kid to a restaurant can be terrifying. These 2 literally could have asked for anything and gotten it and they knew to just figure it out. This is the photo on my vision board! Clearly NOT a Kardashian target market. My goal is to own no clothing other than some bibs and never have to leave my farm other than to go visit my family. I know that the Kardashian women became famous for their beauty, shock and awe publicity and social media posts. Ive noticed that Kim's average instagram post gets around 5MILLION likes and the First Lady of the United States of America barely gets 200 thousand. Obviously some priority and awareness issues out there. That doesnt change the fact that I admire them for their hardworking, strong independance and even more for the fact that they are trying not to raise spoiled assholes for kids. This is my TOTAL makeup collection. I have an old eyeshadow that was on clearance in my store for 79cents, coconut oil with frankincense, mascara and paint my nails once in about every 4 moths. Clearly not making any cosmetic company rich! According to a simple google search, Kim's company has made over 100 million dollars in revenue in the last year. She is also raising 4 children, a loving wife, an up and coming activist, a great sister, loves her mom and has a great sense of humor. It's unlikely that anyone of us will ever know what it is like to have the eyes of the world on us or enough money to buy or have what the Kardashian's do. Most of us have no desire for that either but what we can have and achieve is (I have a tick crawling down my leg right now) Confidence Family Kids who are not jerks Compassion for others Creativity and Love. This is our Macey. She is no longer having puppies but she is still very involved with them. She watches over them. She teaches them to play and disciplines them when they start playing too rough. She is happy to help with the family however she can and we so appreciate her.
Go out and appreciate your people and pets today! Peace Out! Sherry
